Background

In 2016, a former media executive launched letsbevy, an app that uses a proprietary matching algorithm to help businesses and individuals book live music based on the brand and lifestyle of their event. After a few years of growth, letsbevy’s founder decided that the app needed a better name.


Challenge

Develop a new name for letsbevy that speaks to the magic of live music.


Solution

After honing on a handful of possible names, firsthand resonated most clearly. Adding the “music” preface qualifies firsthand and creates a pathway into other artistic expressions such cooking, cocktails, etc.
