Omron HeartGuide

Background

HeartGuide is the first wearable blood pressure monitor and the first blood pressure monitor with built-in EKG. HeartGuide was developed in support of Omron’s mission of “Going for Zero” heart attacks and strokes.

Challenge

Develop messaging that engages, educates and advises the user on managing their blood pressure, weight, activity and sleep.

Solution

Through the development of over 300 messages, I established a likable persona for HeartGuide. I like to think I elevated HeartGuide from a device to an ally in your effort to live your healthiest, best life.

Outcome

HeartGuide earned media recognition and top awards–including best wearable, best health tech and a top innovation pick–at the international Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
