Branding & Social Media for Ecommerce Sleep Brand

Sleepiphany is a new e-commerce mattress brand (a “bed-in-a-box”) spun off from Verlo Mattress.

The hyper-competitive, fast-growing mattress e-commerce space is dominated by a few well-established brands.

To aggressively differentiate itself and accelerate consumer engagement, Sleepiphany invented a snarky, nap-loving brand “spokescat” named Pip (created from the middle three letters in “Sleepiphany”).

I helped develop Pip’s persona and story, and I create his social media content.

I also wrote the copy for the sleepiphany.com and developed the hero graphic – the brand mantra (“Power to the Sleeper”) written in old school graffiti.
