Background

Dr. Cindy Bigbie is a well-known and respected Non-Violent Communication (“NVC} consultant and educator. For over two decades, she has been teaching people how to interact with each other in a way that fosters connection, heals trauma and creates an atmosphere of peace, safety and productivity.


Challenge

Develop a strategy and plan to help Dr. Bigbie to scale her mission of operationalizing peace, enabling her to reach and influence a wider audience. 


Solution

As gifted as Dr. Bigbie is, she’s just one person. There’s only so much training and consulting she can do on her own. So, I saw two pathways to scale. The first pathway would be for Dr. Bigbie to hire and train a team of consultants. That seemed expensive and complicated. The second pathway was to offer paid education/training to aspiring NVC consultants. This made more sense. However, in order to bring this strategy to life, we needed to brand the product. And so the Bigbie Method was born.
