Background

  • Even before the pandemic, hospitals and other institutions were pursuing robotic solutions to the daily challenge of sanitizing surfaces and rooms.

  • The pandemic accelerated the move toward robotic UVC sanitization.

  • My client, a physician’s assistant, saw a need for an affordable UVC robot, and developed one that meets customers’ requirements and budgets.


Challenge

Develop a catchy name for a new medical-grade robotic UVC sanitization device.


Solution

Launching a new product with limited marketing resources in the midst of a global pandemic, I felt the name needed to convey the product’s nature and utility in a simple upbeat way. I wanted the name to feel like a ray of hope. That thinking led me to BrightBot.


Outcome

BrightBot has been extremely well received in the market. It was the right product, brought to market at the right time and at the right price. BrightBot UVC towers are on back order and my client is expanding production capabilities to meet growing customer demand.
