In 2012, I was close to 400 lbs. and pre-diabetic. At the urging of my doctor, I joined a medically supervised weight loss program and over the next three years, I shed 150 lbs., developed a lifelong love affair with strength training and shifted my professional focus toward healthcare branding. Since then, I’ve been writing websites, digital campaigns and thought leadership content for healthcare brands including Abbott Labs, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medline and Omron Healthcare. I’m also a part-time trainer at LA Fitness.
